The exhibition and entertainment space “Tearoom Earth” was opened for six days from July 5, 2008 during the G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit. It consisted of five “Tearoom Earth” globes and a tea ceremony room. The digital globes visualized climate change, population explosion and other issues on the earth being discussed at the Summit. In the tearoom, tea was served to entertain visitors.
